Relocation is not merely the change of the place, but it is a huge emotional experience, especially when it comes to children and pets. During the years, we realized that, as much as adults are preoccupied with packing, planning, and solving logistical issues, the fur-babies and human ones experience the burden in their individual ways.
That is why we always go an extra mile to make sure that not only the families have a smooth move, but a smoothed one too.
1. Communicate with Your Children at an Early Age
We never fail to suggest the inclusion of kids at early stages. Be it a toddler or a teenager children are less anxious when they are fully aware of what is going on and why this is happening.
We propose to allow them a little bit of control they may be allowed to pack a toy box, give choices in coloring the room or bidding farewell to their old area.

We have encountered cases, where pets became nervous and managed to escape. This is why we always recommend ID tags of pets to always be current and collars to be worn. It is easy to have a pet bag that carries pet food, leash, medicine, poop bags and a water bowl.
6. Do Not Drop the New Home on them All at once
After you get to the new site, introduce children and pets one space at a time. First allow them to step down in their room.
The first things to unpack are their personal things. Both are decreased by being exposed to something familiar in a new area.
7. Be very Patient
We realise that children can cry and also pets can misbehave. It’s normal. We never fail to remind families that there will be some form of emotional turbulence in the initial days.
A little saying you are okay, additional cuddles, and a couple of deep breaths will actually help.
